Consultation on the Submitted Honeybourne Parish Neighbourhood Development Plan ran from 23 August to 7 October 2019

The Parish Council formally submitted the Neighbourhood Plan to Wychavon District Council on 19th August 2019.

Wychavon District Council ran their 6 week Regulation 16 Consultation from Friday 23rd August 2019 until 5pm on Monday 7th October 2019. This was the final opportunity for residents and consultees to have a say on the Plan before it gets examined by an independent examiner.

Examination of the plan commences on Friday 1st November 2019. For more information visit Wychavon District Council’s website.

Previous Consultation on the draft Honeybourne Parish Neighbourhood Development Plan

We shared our Draft Plan with you as part of what is more formally known as the Regulation 14 Consultation for 6 weeks from 1st March 2019 until 5pm on 12th April 2019.

We held a launch event in the Village Hall on Sunday 3rd March which was well attended by over 100 people. The boards that were on display along with  a copy of the Draft Plan and supporting documentation can be found below.

The group have reviewed the responses received and updated the Plan.

Public Event – Sunday 3rd March 2019

To kick start the consultation period we held a launch event on Sunday 3rd March at the Village Hall. This provided the community with an opportunity to drop in and find out more about the policies in the Plan and how they may affect them. The Plan sets out where new housing will be, what green spaces will be protected and many other policies for Planners to use when they are making planning decisions in our Parish.

Over 100 people attended the event and members of the NDP Group were on hand to discuss the display boards, background work and next steps.  

Open Weekend July 2018

In July 2018 we held an Open weekend to find out your views on our Vision and Objectives for the plan, to identify a preferred housing site and to share a shortlist of sites that we felt were appropriate to designate as Local Green Space.

We reviewed the results and used them to inform the policies in the Plan. The results are published as part of the Evidence Base.

Questionnaire

In October 2017 we distributed a residents’ questionnaire to every home in the parish, so that you could have your say about the future of Honeybourne parish. We also distributed a business questionnaire to 65 businesses in Honeybourne parish.

We have listened to the community’s opinions and have used them to inform an overall vision and objectives of the Plan. We held a public meeting in November in the back room of Gate Inn to present the findings; these results are published as part of the Evidence Base.

Meetings

All our meetings are open to the public and are held most months in the side room of the Village Hall or the back room at the Gate Inn. Please check on the homepage for our next meeting.
