Latest update

Following the examination of the Honeybourne Neighbourhood Plan at the end of last year the Independent Examiner’s recommended modifications have been agreed as detailed in Wychavon District Council’s Decision Statement.

A Referendum will be held on Thursday 5 March 2020 to ask voters “Do you want Wychavon District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Honeybourne to help it decide planning applications in the Neighbourhood Area?”

The referendum is a simple yes or no vote regarding whether the parish should adopt the Neighbourhood Plan. All adults registered to vote within the parish will have the opportunity to have their say. If over 50% of the votes are in support of the plan, then Wychavon will adopt the Plan. After the Plan is adopted all planning applications in the Neighbourhood Area will have to take account of the policies in our Neighbourhood Plan.

We hope you will take the opportunity to vote in support of your Neighbourhood Plan.
